DESCRIPTION:Every year local merchants in Old Town La Verne host a safe\, family-oriented\, trick-or-treat candy walk for children on the afternoon of Halloween. In addition\, the University of La Verne regularly hosts a cable television variety show at Mainiero Square where children are invited to appear in costume and be a part of the Halloween fun. Winners of the annual Halloween coloring contest are also announced and awarded prizes for the event. For more information\, please call City Hall at (909) 596-8706. Parents may pick-up coloring contest entry forms at City Hall Community Services in October.
