I also look forward to sharing with you my latest legislative proposals and discussing important community issues\n\n\n\nPlease join Assemblymember Holden in congratulating La Verne resident\, Rotarian and author\, Sylvia Whitlock! In 1987\, she was the very first Rotary Club president in the entire organization and author of Women Also Serve. She continues to make her community and the world a better place. She has been selected as the recipient of the 41st Assembly District 2018 Woman of Distinction Award representing the City of La Verne.
