SUMMARY:Wildfire Town Hall
DESCRIPTION:The biological diversity of the San Gabriel Valley makes it one of the most alluring places to live in Los Angeles County. Unfortunately\, the diversity of the region makes it prone to destructive wildfires that can leave a lasting impact on our community. That's why I have joined my fellow colleagues who also represent the San Gabriel Valley to bring experts to discuss: \n\n	How residents can protect their homes from wildfires.\n	What wildfire prevention measures the utilities are implementing.\n	How the State of California is preparing for and responding to catastrophic wildfires.\n\n\n\nOur expert panelists include: \n\n\n	Daryl Osby\, Fire Chief for the Los Angeles County Fire Department\n	Jeffrey Toney\, Southern Region Administrator for the California Office of Emergency Services\n	Elizaveta Malashenko\, Deputy Executive of Safety and Enforcement for the California Public Utilities Commission Office of Safety and Enforcement\n	Representative for Southern California Edison\n\n\n\nI'll be joined by State Senator Anthony Portantino (SD-25) and Assemblymembers Laura Friedman (AD-43)\, Blanca Rubio (AD-48)\, and Ed Chau (AD-49) to ask questions and facilitate an in-depth conversation around wildfire prevention.\n\n\n\nSincerely\,\n\n\n\nAssemblyman Chris Holden
