54th Annual Deep Pit Barbecue
Adult tickets are $10; tickets for children 12 years and under are $5. A Family Pack is available for $30. The menu is beef and turkey, buttered bread, slaw, cold drinks or coffee, and dessert. The barbecue is open from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., and dinners may be boxed up to take to the July 4th Fireworks Show. Tickets are available at the La Verne Methodist Church, 3205 D Street from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
