Damien High School Ice Hockey Team Seeks Donations to Fund Appearance at Finals This Month

The Damien High School ice hockey team clinched their first ever Varsity State Championship recently as they went undefeated this season, securing their spot to compete at Nationals in Minnesota later this month.

“The team has worked nonstop to accomplish the unexpected, and as a Damien alumnus, I have only dreamed of a moment such as this,” said Curtis Fisher, head coach of the Damien High School ice hockey team.

The National Tournament is a six-day-long event, which will be an expensive trip for the team’s players and families. They are seeking donations that could help these kids continue making history. All donations are greatly appreciated, as the team’s goal is to remain a winning program for years to come.
