Rail Delivery Train to Impact Street-Level Crossings starting Wednesday August 25

Beginning as soon as tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday, August 25), and continuing through Saturday, August 28, a rail delivery train will be delivering 1,600-foot-long rail sticks to various locations along the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Glendora to Pomona. As the train travels through the corridor, all street-level crossings will be impacted. Safety gates will go down, and the train will blow its horn (as is required by the Federal Railway Administration).
At locations where the train will be off-loading rail sticks, street-level crossings will be impacted multiple times. Crossing gates will come down for approximately three to five minutes each time. Expect minor delays, and please be patient.
Rail deliveries will take place between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM daily; starting tomorrow afternoon and continue through Saturday.

Please stay alert for the rail delivery train. The horn will be blown as the rail delivery train comes through the crossings.
Do not try to enter the crossing when the crossing gates are coming down or have come down. Wait until the crossing gates are fully up.
