Relay for Life Claremont-La Verne 2019 Kick-Off Meeting
Calling for Community Unity in the Fight Against Cancer!! "What we can't do alone, we can do together"
We are looking for Teams and Volunteers to join this year's Relay for Life Event Hosted at Claremont High School on April 13, 2019.
Refreshments and Snacks will be provided.
What is Relay for life:
It is a Fundraising Event for the American Cancer Society. Teams are formed by any group of individuals who take turns walking the track the entire time of the event symbolizing that cancer never sleeps. The event is filled with Live Music, Entertainment and Fun Filled Activities.
Why Relay:
To Celebrate the Lives of those who have battled cancer, Remember loved ones lost, and to empower individuals and communities to fight back against cancer.How Do I Form A Team:
Gather a group of individuals, come up with a name for your team and attend Team Captain Meetings. Day of the Event: Set up a canopy for your team site, create a walking schedule, hold a fundraiser at your site, provide Cancer Awareness information and encourage your team to fundraise and have Fun!!
