ULV College of Law Business Forum
Under the direction of Professor Paul Naccachian, the University of La Verne College of Law is collaborating with the City of La Verne and the La Verne Chamber of Commerce to help address issues presented by the COVID 19 pandemic. The plan includes presenting a panel that will identify issues in specific legal areas including Workers’ Compensation, Landlord/Tenant, and Labor & Employment.
The outbreak and rapid spread of COVID 19 has flustered markets and disrupted supply chains, threatening the global economy. The emergency action of governors and local authorities has affected businesses on matters ranging from contracts, workers compensation, insurance, landlord-tenant and employment relations. Legal issues will persist as businesses plan and prepare to reopen with adaptive measures.
If you have a question/issue you would like addressed, please email in advance to leah@lavernechamber.org
