
Full Street Closure: Fulton Road at Railroad Crossing
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITYAs part of the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project, KPJV crews will be working at the Fulton Road railroad crossing to replace the existing Metrolink track then repave the work zone. This work requires a full closure of Fulton Road at the railroad crossing from 7:00 a.m. July 15 to 7:00 a.m. July 19. Milestone Reached: Foothill Gold Line from Glendora to Pomona Reaches 50% Construction Completion
The Construction Authority held a press conference on June 17 to celebrate the 9.1-mile, four-station Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Glendora to Pomona reaching 50% construction completion. The celebration took place at Rhoads Park in San Dimas, just steps away from the project corridor and one of four new light rail bridges being constructed to carry future light rail trains and passengers over major streets. As part of the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project, crews will be returning to complete the railroad crossing on San Dimas Canyon Road (north of Arrow Hwy.) in the cities of San Dimas and La Verne. Crews will be performing underground utility work, median construction, light rail track installation, building a new right turn pocket from westbound Arrow Hwy. to northbound San Dimas Canyon Rd., and rebuilding the roadway, curbs and gutters.
