a 1914 Craftsman-style home located in the City of Upland
Informational meetings will be held to explain the program and to take initial
applications. Applications will be available at the information meetings.
Applicants will need to bring the following to the meeting:
Driver’s license
Social security card
Proof of legal residency
Cashier check(s) or money order(s) -
$15 for one applicant and $25 for EACH additional applicant
Make payable to PVHFH (Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity)
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a US citizen or legal resident
At least ONE resident of this home must be 62 years or older
Open to residents of our 16-city area (see side bar)
Must not own any real estate, First Time Homebuyer
Income must fall between 30% and 50% of area median income limits
Must have fairly good credit, and no liens or judgments
Must make a $2,500 payment toward sales costs
Must qualify to pay on a 30-year, no interest loan
Each applicant MUST complete 250 hours of sweat equity
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit ecumenical Christian housing ministry that welcomes all people and is dedicated to the cause of eliminating poverty housing.
